Questions yards actually ask
Will it tank my prices overnight?
No. Your minimums, deviation stop limits, and freezes cap every move, big changes wait in the review queue for your OK, and you can roll back any night’s run in one click.
How do you decide which price tier I’m in?
By how many parts are in your inventory when your receiver syncs — the same count you’ll see on your dashboard. It’s one flat rate per yard per month, not per part, and extra users cost nothing. If you sit near a tier boundary, call us and we’ll sort it out.
Do I need to talk to a salesperson to start?
No. Sign up, connect your IMS, and preview every price free. Upgrade from inside the app when you’re ready — though real humans are at 800-211-0812 if you want them.
What does it price from?
Live market listings for the same interchange, your own sales history and lookups, mileage, grade or condition code, quantity on hand, and days in stock — weighted by rules you can see and change.
Which inventory systems does it work with?
Pinnacle, Powerlink, and Checkmate today. A small receiver runs beside your IMS and syncs both directions. Pinnacle yards also get a small PC we set up next to Pinnacle to write prices.
Can my counter staff change settings they shouldn’t?
Roles keep it safe: yard users manage exclusions and day-to-day lists, owners control schedules and discounts, and calculation internals stay locked unless you ask us to change them.
